What is Botox? What is Dysport? What is Xeomin? How are they different?
Botox, Dysport and Xeomin are all forms of botulinum toxin A and are used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. By working beneath the surface, Botox, Dysport and Xeomin help reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded. During your consultation, you and your provider will discuss and choose which one is right for you together.

When will I see results?
You will begin to notice changes after 36-48 hours, however full results can take up to 14 days.
How many treatments will I need?
You will only need one single treatment to show results. However, results last about 3-4 months, therefore treatments can continue upon this timeline for as long as the patient desires.
Will I need time to recover?
There is no down time with this treatment. Most normal activities can be resumed immediately following the treatment, and side effects are often so minimal they won’t interfere with everyday life. To ensure the best results and prevent any negative side effects, it is best to avoid rubbing or massaging the point of injection to prevent the botulinum toxin from migrating to other areas of the face. Also, avoid being in the sun too long, as excessive sun exposure may cause irritation. Exercise may be resumed 24 hours after the injections. Bruising is possible but not common. Plan treatment at least 7-10 days ahead of any important events/vacations.
